Definition of wellness

: the quality or state of being in good health especially as an actively sought goal.

To me, Wellness is a journey to a happy and healthy life, and wellness is chosen daily.

Below are my seven definitions of Wellness.

Nature.png

Nature.

Human is a part of nature, to be well, surround yourself with plants, hike the mountain, walk on the beach, swim in the ocean, be one with nature.

Meditation.png

Meditation.

Wellness is to be mindful of one’s own thoughts and actions. The art of meditation helps us to be more observant, not of others but of our own minds.

Sleep.png

Sleep.

Sleep time is when we heal. The cells repair, food is processed, blood is redistributed, organs are nourished with nutrients. Getting an adequate amount of sleep is wellness.

Exercise.png

Exercise.

We all know that exercise is good for our body, it is also good for the mind. So, move the body, move the blood, move the energy, your future self will thank you.

Hydrate.png

Hydration.

Drink half of your weight (lbs) in ounces. Stay hydrated because water is wellness, water is life.

Food.png

Food.

Food can bring you down or lift you up. Food is social, food is personal. Choosing the right food for your body and mind is essential. Eat well, be well.

Love.png

Love.

Love those around you.

Love yourself.

Keep your heart well.
